Interdisciplinary and interinstitutional simulation and cooperation: development of nursing students competencies in disaster

چکیده

Abstract Objective to identify the importance attributed simulated practice use in nursing undergraduate students’ pedagogic actions field of disasters, an interdisciplinary and interinstitutional scope Portugal. Methods a study framed qualitative paradigm, supported by inductive exploratory reasoning. As data collection technique, semi-structured interviews were applied coordinators/directors courses at public private schools Results simulation methodology disasters is teaching/learning strategy for students develop skills this area. This type will have greater advantage if carried out partnership with organizations involved protection rescue operations scope, since it enhances prevention quality response all actors involved. Final considerations implications considering specific complexity unpredictability disaster situations, establishment strategic cooperation partnerships responsibility field, which promotes development reduces erroneous deterministic view organizations, regarding ability integrate these actions, fundamental.
